Deserved victory against promotion chasers

Yesterday the senior team recorded a superb victory with a very mature performance away against Chepstow who started the game in the top 3 of the division. From the outset Fleur controlled the game looking strong in the set piece and playing with tempo against the much heavier opposition pack. In the first half we scored three tries two of which came from superb driving mauls which the opposition had no answer to resulting in tries for Kefyn Miles and Owen Swift. The other try came from Jordan Clash following superb interplay from forwards and backs. In the second half is where the boys showed their maturity and learned lessons from the numerous narrow defeats we have slipped to late on in games this season. They didn't react to a number of niggly cheap shots and high tackles keeping their discipline and battled on to secure a superb 23-18 victory.

There is a good feeling in the squad right now as we go into the final weeks of the season and up next is table toppers Hartridge next weekend in our final home game of the season so get down and support the boys.
